Pay: $90,000-$120,000

Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced HR Manager with a strong background in Learning and Development (L&D) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing HR functions while also designing, implementing, and overseeing training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance. We are looking for an individual who wants to own and grow the entire HR process and bring new ideas, strategies, and procedures to the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR (50%)
  • Partner with leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that support organizational goals and growth.
  • Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management initiatives.
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide data-driven insights to improve performance, retention, and engagement.
  • Champion a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead change management efforts during periods of organizational transformation.
  • Develop and refine policies that enhance employee experience and organizational agility.
General HR Operations (25%)
  • Manage core HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as internal policies.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.
  • Maintain HR systems and ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records.
Learning and Development (25%)
  • Conduct training needs assessments and identify capability gaps across departments.
  • Design, implement, and facilitate learning programs, workshops, and e-learning content.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and measure ROI.
  • Collaborate with managers to align L&D strategies with team and business needs.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, tools, and best practices in professional development.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in HR management, with at least 3-5 years in a Learning and Development role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices and labor laws.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and e-learning platforms.
  • Certification in HR or Learning and Development (e.g., SHRM-CP, CPLP).
  • Experience with performance management systems.
  • Experience in Construction or Electrical industry is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
