Job Description

Torch Technologies is seeking a Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS) Capabilities Analyst to support the Joint C-sUAS Office (JCO). This role requires a high-performing professional with expertise in military operations and advanced analytical skills to advise and support the JCO Requirements and Integration Division Chief, the JCO Director, and other senior leaders. The successful candidate will assist in developing, synchronizing, and integrating DoD C-sUAS capabilities into the Joint Force while supporting a broad portfolio of systems across Combatant Commands, Military Services, and Federal agencies.

Responsibilities:



  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the C-sUAS mission and coordinate Joint Lessons Learned through the Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS).
  • Translate complex technical C-sUAS concepts and present them to Senior Leaders with operational and tactical context.
  • Document capability interoperability challenges and system performance issues.
  • Conduct operational analysis and develop recommendations to improve existing C-sUAS doctrine and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with program managers, system developers, and Military Services to guide the development of effective C-sUAS solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver briefings; represent the JCO at meetings, forums, and conferences across the C-sUAS community of interest.
  • Execute staff actions and provide technical and analytical support to ongoing JCO efforts.
  • Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) from key stakeholders including Congress, the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), and other federal organizations.
  • Identify and recommend emerging technologies to enhance current C-sUAS systems and processes.
  • Support the development and updating of documentation including system procedures, presentations, and training materials.
  • Provide mentorship and work leadership to less experienced staff.

Job Requirements

  • Senior Military Staff experience required.
  • Active Secret security clearance required; TS/SCI preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • 10+years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with C-sUAS mission operations, technologies, and doctrine.
  • Familiarity with military systems development, acquisition, and integration.
  • Ability to conduct operational data analysis and assess capability effectiveness.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for senior-level briefings.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience supporting cross-functional teams.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Prior military and related C-sUAS experience.
  • Experience consulting with program managers, system development teams, Military Services, and Federal Agencies.
  • TS/SCI clearance is preferred
