Job Description

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.

• Responsible for oversight of resident and faculty administrative responsibilities and reporting data to residency program leadership.

• Assists with managing surgery resident rotations and evaluations.

• Identifies opportunities for physician development in teaching skills.

• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma Required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Four years of experience in administrative or medical educational role preferred.
• Must be detail oriented; possess strong organizational, communication, computer and written skills.
• Personal computer and word processing/spreadsheet/database management software knowledge a must.. Ability to be flexible and perform consistently under pressure.
• Effective Communication - Use of effective verbal and written communication concepts, tools and techniques, ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors
• Interpersonal Relationships - Knowledge of the techniques and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner
