M9 Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer to work on a government contract for a client located in San Diego, CA. An active TS/SCI clearance is required. Responsibilities Design, implement, monitor, and manage the local and wide area networks of an organization to ensure maximum up time for users. This role can include designing system configurations, documenting and managing the installation of a new network, and maintaining and upgrading existing systems as necessary. Network Design and Implementation: Design, plan, and implement LAN (Local Area Network) infrastructure. Configure and install Cisco network switches. Implement network security measures. Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards. Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance and identify potential issues. Troubleshoot network problems, diagnose issues, and implement solutions. Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as software updates and hardware upgrades. Document network configurations and procedures. Required Skills and Qualifications Active TS/SCI security clearance. Security+ certification. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in network administration. 5+ years of experience configuring Cisco switches. Have a Cisco CCO account to create Cisco TAC cases and download IOS updates.
