The Membership Eligibility Data Management Analyst will be responsible for file management, eligibility analysis, process support and improvement, and any other day to day operational functions as needed.

This position is full time (40 hours / week), Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM local time. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime and weekends.

This will be paid on-the-job training and the hours during training will be 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM local time from Monday - Friday. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Research member eligibility issues & escalations and respond to business partners with resolution
  • Ensure adherence to quality measures and timeliness
  • Coordinate and be accountable for the daily activities of business support, technical, and / or unit support
  • Conduct root cause analysis
  • Develop action plans for issues identified
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ability to create presentations for Executive leaders
  • Work on projects as assigned by leadership

Required Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 2+ years of Eligibility experience
  • 2+ years of experience with analyzing and solving customer problems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM local time. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Project management experience
  • Documentation and process flow experience
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint experience



Telecommuting Requirements:



  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

The hourly range for this role is $34.42 to $67.60 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
