GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
In partnership with the Primary Care Regional Leadership Triad, and under the direction of Primary Care Central Leadership, the Regional Administrator for BWH Primary Care is jointly responsible for meeting the quality, cost, efficiency and care team development goals for their respective Primary Care region. The Regional Administrator directly supervises the Practice Managers in the region, and as such, is responsible for oversight of the senior and business functions and operations within those practices. The Regional Administrator will work closely with Primary Care Central Leadership to develop, document, implement and monitor policies and procedures for efficient, patient-centered operations. This position reports to the Senior Director for Primary Care. As a key leader within Primary Care, the Regional Administrator will also be an important contributor to and participant in the development of long term strategy and planning across all of BWH Primary Care PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Shared Regional Triad Responsibilities Collaboration Acts in partnership with the leadership triad which shares responsibility for: Interdisciplinary collaboration Developing strong collaborative relationships across roles, disciplines and departments, ensuring the evolving needs of Primary Care patients and the inter-professional team are addressed Working collaboratively with Primary Care Central (PCC), practice management and faculty leadership, implements initiatives to ensure that key Primary Care goals and objectives are met. Building and maintaining constructive partnerships with stakeholders such as: Human Resources Population health management, including behavioral health integration High-risk care management program Social care team around social determinants of health screening Quality Acts in partnership with the leadership triad which shares responsibility for: Managing quality and process improvement Monitoring and analyzing patient satisfaction and activation Monitoring BWH population health management activities Setting expectations Developing and communicating practice protocols Supporting change Care Team Acts in partnership with the leadership triad which shares responsibility for: Working with practice management on their individual goals, development, capabilities, and potential Leading teambuilding by modeling good teamwork and mutual respect Developing, building and sustaining a collaborative, team-based model of care that represents an equitable LIP and support staff workload and shared vision Cost Acts in partnership with the leadership triad which shares responsibility for: Ensuring that each practice is meeting budget and growth target expectations Creating innovative models of care which promote access, cost effectiveness and an exceptional patient experience Efficiency Acts in partnership with the leadership triad which shares responsibility for: Ensuring the successful translation of Brigham and Women's Primary Care values and ideals into practice Defining and implementing best practices for care delivery Promoting standardization and operational excellence across practices Default Add'l Job Description The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
