The School of Veterinary Medicine (SVM) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) in the fields of Immunology, Aging and Healthspan. These positions are part of an exciting campus-wide initiative: the Wisconsin Research, Innovation, and Scholarly Excellence (RISE)-THRIVE (Transforming Healthspan through Research, Innovation, and Education) initiative. Through accelerated and strategic faculty hiring, research infrastructure enhancement, and interdisciplinary collaboration, RISE addresses complex societal challenges of importance to the state, nation and world. Building on UW-Madison's strengths, RISE expands the University's successful track record of connecting with communities and industry on collaborative solutions.

Research areas of interest include but are not limited to: immune system dysregulation during aging, age-related chronic inflammation (inflammaging), immune-based interventions to extend healthspan, stem cell biology and regenerative medicine, the role of metabolism and the microbiome in maintaining immune homeostasis, neuroscience and neuroinflammatory mechanisms, and immuno-oncology. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and sustain an extramurally funded and nationally recognized research program, participate in graduate student training, contribute to teaching, and engage in university service.

Interested applicants should apply for job number 313472-FA via the University of Wisconsin-Madison website at jobs.wisc.edu. Application should include:
