Has knowledge of aseptic technique. Performs functional and safety inspections, assembles and disassembles orthopedic traction equipment and other equipment used in patient care areas. Complies with departmental policies, abides by sanitation, safety, housekeeping and infection control. Observes and reports any unusual conditions. Participates in product recalls. Position: STAT Sterile Processing Tech, this position is based at Bryn Mawr Hospital but travels to Riddle Hospital, Lankenau Medical Center and Paoli Hospital as needed.
Shift: Evening, 3:00PM - 11:30PM, every 3rd weekend commitment and 2 holidays annually.

Experience:
Minimum of 2 years experience in instrument processing required.

Education:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Must complete 10 hours of qualifying continuing education annually.

Licensures/Certifications:
Certified registered central service technician credential (CRCST) or certified sterile processing and
distribution technician credential (CSPDT) Required.
