Position Summary:

Our Client Strategists are responsible for managing multiple client accounts. Their responsibilities include maintaining a thorough knowledge of M3 Group's business and offerings, developing and implementing strategic plans to support and grow accounts, managing and strengthening client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver on client expectations.

Work Arrangement: This position is able to work hybrid arrangement. Expectation to work onsite on Tuesdays and one other day each week at the Lansing or Troy office. Travel required for client meetings as necessary.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:00pm ET

An offer of employment with MSU Federal Credit Union and affiliates is contingent upon the agreed work arrangement (onsite/hybrid/remote) and work location. MSU Federal Credit Union may or may not be able to accommodate temporary or permanent changes to work arrangements or allow employment outside the city and/or state of residency in which the new hire resides at the time of offered employment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Work directly in a pod team (content strategy and graphic design) to ensure clients receive projects on time and within budget to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate deadlines with internal teams and monitor milestones are being met.
  • Provide regular updates to management on status of client projects.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of M3 Group's business offerings.
  • Identifies upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
  • Crafts compelling proposals to grow existing accounts and introduce new services.
  • Strategize and be proactive in meeting client needs by suggesting additional support.
  • Maintain schedules, track time and communicate regularly with clients and colleagues.
  • Builds strong, trusted relationships with clients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required



    • B.A. in advertising, marketing or business-related field preferred; or equivalent work experience.
    • Minimum of two to three years of account management experience.
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • Detail oriented and organized.
    • Creative problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Excellent customer service and client/account retention skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines.
    • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.


          Physical Demands & Work Environment:



          • May be required to remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time.
          • Ability to operate standard office technology, equipment and tools, which may include many hours of computer and phone usage.
          • Ability to travel to/from appointments as required.
          • This position is able to work in hybrid or onsite working arrangements.
