Sales Development Manager - Temperature + System Products

We are looking for a Sales Development Manager to join our Group and support our Temperature and System Products team members in driving World Class Excellence within our organization. We support both our internal and external sales teams with innovative products that fit perfectly within our core industries in the Western Region of the USA.

As aSales Development Manager with Temperature + System Products, you will play a key role in expanding our presence across core industries by supporting our local sales representatives and channel partners. This role is ideal for someone who excels at building relationships, identifying opportunities, and translating technical capabilities into meaningful customer solutions. Which tasks will you perform?

  • Proactively generate and execute plans, systems and initiatives to expand new and current customer base within the industry
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales colleagues on identifying and aligning activities with our sales centers, channel partners and representatives ensuring development aligns with stakeholder strategies
  • Provide guidance through industry competence for new product innovations, life cycle, competitor updates and new developments in regulation related to industry
  • Create sales orientation and plans to increase customer expansion and penetration
  • Deliver technical presentations to customers, clearly communicating the value and functionality of our solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Qualify and approach prospective customers

What do we expect from you?

  • 5+ year of sales experience in process instrumentation/automation sales or combination of equivalent education and experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in a related fieldorequivalent experience in a relevant industry we serve(such as Food & Beverage, Oil & Gas, Mining & Minerals, Water & Wastewater, or Life Sciences) strongly preferred
  • Must be based in or near Denver, CO, Salt Lake City, UT, or Phoenix, AZ to effectively support the assigned territory
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time, with the ability to work remotely when not traveling
  • Strong understanding of our products and the ability to translate complex concepts into practical applications
  • Ability to effectively communicate customer value by articulating product features and benefits
  • Passion for solving customer challenges and delivering innovative, tailored solutions
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills to manage priorities and drive results
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally
