Purpose of the Role

As a Maintenance Coordinator I at Worley, you will play an essential role in supporting the safe, environmentally responsible, and cost-effective performance of maintenance operations across capital and operational projects. This role is instrumental in bridging the current needs of energy, chemicals, and resources delivery with the company's vision of enabling a more sustainable future. You will coordinate the planning, scheduling, and logistical support for maintenance activities, ensuring project materials and resources are efficiently managed across all phases of execution.

Key Responsibilities



  • Support day-to-day planning and scheduling of maintenance tasks to uphold equipment performance and reliability across capital and O&M projects
  • Coordinate material management activities including material take-offs, inventory tracking, setting up Bills of Materials (BOMs), and supporting procurement logistics
  • Assist with loading and unloading project materials such as piping, valves, fittings, and fasteners, and ensure accurate logging and documentation, including MTR (Material Test Reports) and heat numbers
  • Facilitate the preparation and kitting of materials to ensure timely availability for field execution
  • Track inventory levels and maintain documentation accuracy across warehouse systems to support continuous project execution
  • Collaborate with project and warehouse teams to sign out and document material usage, ensuring alignment with project schedules and stakeholder expectations
  • Rotate work schedules during extended operations or weekend coverage to ensure seamless support of site activities
  • Operate and maintain required certifications for material handling equipment and comply with client/operator qualifications where applicable
  • Provide input to improve systems and procedures related to maintenance coordination and participate in continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Worley's sustainability goals

Qualifications / Skillset



  • A university degree in a related field or an equivalent trade qualification, supported by relevant industry experience
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with maintenance coordination, inventory control, and materials management-typically four or more years for those with a trade background
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including materials handling, documentation processes, and Bill of Materials setup
  • Working knowledge of material tracking tools, inventory systems, and associated software applications
  • Forklift operator certification and/or Operator Qualifications (OQ) as required by client or site-specific standards
  • Ability to make informed decisions within scope, considering operational, financial, and environmental impacts
  • Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with peers, supervisors, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and quality standards in all aspects of work
  • Capability to work with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
