The Manager of the Simulation Lab will collaborate with the Director and Assistant Director of the IPE Simulation Lab, Program Directors, faculty and staff across the graduate and undergraduate departments in the College of Public Health. The Manager will support the day-to-day operations of the simulation lab including simulation scheduling, training and purchasing supplies. This individual will collaborate with the College of Public Health's faculty and staff, vendors, biomedical engineering, Director, and CPH IT to maintain equipment in the interprofessional simulation lab. Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential functions:
*Work closely with the Assistant Director on departmental planning, logistics and follow up.
*Manage calendar and complex meeting scheduling for the department. Arrange meeting logistics including space reservations, A/V equipment needs, etc.
*Maintain statistics on simulation lab use and students served.
*Create budgets, reports, and organizational charts; agenda preparation, taking meeting minutes and conduct follow-up for action items.
*Create communications documents for the simulation lab.
*Communicate with stakeholders including faculty, administration, community partners, community members, and outside organizations.
*Provide technical assistance, support and training to faculty, instructors and staff in the use of simulation equipment and recording systems as necessary.
*In collaboration with the Director of SIM, responsible for implementing and maintaining Sim Station recording system. This includes monitoring access requests and security, collaborating with IT regarding single user-sign on and troubleshooting issues.
*Provide recommendations for budgeting and purchase of equipment, supplies and materials.
*Conduct ongoing maintenance of all simulation equipment, including cleaning and assuring that all equipment is functioning and maintained in good working order.
*Assist with maintaining records for repairs and maintenance that accommodate the changing needs of the department.
*Participate in technical training as necessary.
*Assist with special projects or initiatives as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and at least three years of related experience. Must have experience in simulation-based education and previous patient interaction in healthcare or public health. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills & Abilities:

*Self-motivated and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
*Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic environment.
*Excellent organizational skills.

Preferred:
*Demonstrated ability and knowledge of relevant simulation technology and experience running simulation activities.
*Ability to plan, implement and evaluate complex systems and tasks
*Strong computer skills including MS Word and Excel.
*Experience using and managing systems used for recording simulations and debriefing.
*Handle Purchasing Cards, / Credit Cards, and manage financial transactions
*Will have access to Confidential Student and Personal Identifiable Information
*May have direct contact or routine interaction with minors under the age of 18
