However, any non-permanent employee hired to work 30 or more hours per week for three months or more (cumulative of all positions, and not designated as variable hour worker), must be offered the chance to enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan, within 30 days of their eligibility. Any non-permanent employee hired to work less than 30 hours per week (cumulative of all positions or designated as variable hour worker - i.e. student workers) are measured during designated measurement periods. Minimum Experience/Education |
- Recent college graduates with a background in broadcasting, communications or sport management. Experience working within an NCAA Division I athletics department
- Understanding of fundamentals of camera and video equipment operation
- Experience with video switching, replay systems, audio equipment and Ross XPression
- Strong and effective interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and an ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a professional way

- Able to handle several projects at once and meet tight deadlines
- Possession of a strong work ethic and high level of confidentiality
- Ability to operate basic hand tools and move heavy camera equipment around
- Ability to learn, contribute and thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic environment
- Interest in learning Adobe Creative Suite or intermediate experience is preferred
- Self-starter and entrepreneurial spirit with hands-on approach towards business

Duties and Responsibilities |
- Act as a production assistant on game day
- Assist with the operation of broadcast equipment such as switchers, replay systems, and graphic systems
- Set-up for broadcasts on the ESPN Digital Network
- Help in maintaining production and crew calendar as needed
- Train student operators on camera techniques and broadcast equipment usage
- Assist with creating and implementing graphics content needed to "tell the story" during live events
- Help with the execution of special events related to the Charlotte 49ers Athletics Department
