Job Description
Apply Now > Save Job Job Saved Responsible for New Product Introduction (NPI), product sustainment, and product support activities for Electromechanical Systems (EMS) products. Responsible for transitioning new designs from low-rate production to full-rate production, supporting sustainment of existing products and processes, and resolving issues with field returns while ensuring overall product quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Reports to the Systems and Mechanical Engineering Manager and is based in Cary, NC with a 4-days onsite and 1-day remote work schedule. Ensures NPI manufacturing activities are coordinated among the functional teams (Systems, Mechanical, Electronic Hardware, Software, Quality, and V&V). Involved in new product launch, root cause analysis, issue resolution such as obsolescence or restricted processes, process improvements, relevant documentation, and implementing design changes to current production.
