Attractive pay

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities

This position assists in coding, testing, and debugging software applications while collaborating with experienced developers. The role also contributes to real-world projects, documents processes, and participates in team discussions to enhance learning.

  • Assists with software design, coding, and testing tasks.
  • Works alongside experienced developers to identify and resolve bugs.
  • Writes and updates software documentation.
  • Learns and implements best practices in software development.
  • Uses source control to store source code, including packages, individual files, and any support assets.
  • Participates in team meetings and contributes to project discussions.
  • Stays updated on the latest industry trends and coding standards.
  • Complies with policies, procedures and regulatory mandates including but not limited to abiding to the terms of the Amedisys Compliance Program.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies.
Preferred:
  • Hands-on development experience with at least one programming language.
