Position Title: Packaging
Wage: $20.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 5:00am-1:00pm QPS Employment Group has a great Packaging position available at a company in Monroe, WI. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Packaging Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Handle and inspect products for compliance with quality standards, adhering to all food safety policies. - Smearing of ring washed cheeses. Scraping cheese for final preparation. - Cut products to packaging specifications. - Make boxes or other containers. Tape/seal boxes or containers. - Label and code products, palletize products. - Learning and knowing company cheese specifications for cheese. Labeling individual to company specifications. - Operate packaging equipment and machinery including Load Rotary sealer, Pic Pack Cell Loader, Tape Machine, Pallet Wrapper, Box Folder, Box Taper, and Pallet Loader after trained on each piece of equipment. Packaging Requirements: -Must maintain a high degree of personal hygiene. - Ability to stand for 8+ hours and walk with frequent bending, twisting, pushing, and squatting throughout shift. - This position can frequently involve repetitive lifting of up to 30lbs depending on online position. - This job occasionally involves being on knees, inspecting and cleaning the underside of equipment. - Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. - Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers. - Basic computer skills including email, word processing and spreadsheets. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure. - Ability to see naturally or with correction. monroe@qpsemployment.com About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
