Position Summary

The Line Attendant is responsible for the following: keeping caps loaded in the capper hopper; ensuring a constant flow of fruit to the filler; assisting in glass breaks; housekeeping; properly completely required paperwork; and ensuring GMP, BRC, Food Safety, and HACCP procedures are followed.

Essential Functions

* Inspect equipment and surrounding area for cleanliness

* Load caps into capper hopper, recording usage on required paperwork

* Check overflow station and dump buckets as needed

* Fill hand sanitizer dip buckets for all area of Packaging

* Open and inspect totes prior to their placement at the hopper

* Dump fruit in hopper, disposing of bag liner

* Ensure an even flow of cherries is provided to the hopper, by raking as needed

* Assist with glass breaks, following HACCP procedures

* Work in a safe manner at all times

* Other duties as assigned

Competencies and Certifications Required

* Internal GMP/HACCP/BRC Training

* Excellent communication skills

* Complete work instruction/qualification sheet in allotted time frame

Physical Demands of Job

The employee must be able to perform the physical demands listed below to perform this specific job functions:

• Frequent standing and walking
• Occasional climbing, bending, stooping, and twisting
• Lifting up to 50 pounds
