Summary Provides specialized knowledge and expertise in the design of compensation programs and practices. Collaborates with business leaders and management on program development and planning for departmental initiatives, including those that have a corporate wide impact and compensation programs that support business strategy, fit organizational culture and facilitate attracting, retaining, rewarding high performance employees. Consults with HR and organizational management to provide business solutions that align with the overall structure of the BCBSSC organization. Conducts analysis of job content and job worth to evaluate internal equity, external competitiveness, and legal compliance.
Description
Location: This position is full-time (40-hours/week) Monday-Friday in a typical office environment. This role is onsite at 51 Clemson Rd. Columbia, SC. Position Purpose: You will design compensation programs and practices, collaborating with business leaders on initiatives that impact the entire organization. Your work will support business strategy, fit the organizational culture, and help attract, retain, and reward high-performance employees. You will consult with HR and management to align solutions with the organization's structure and analyze job content to ensure equity, competitiveness, and compliance. What You'll Do:
