Summary

New York Institute of Technology's Jonesboro, Arkansas campus is seeking an Assistant Director, Finance. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the incumbent will assist in the preparation and management of the NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine school's annual budget for the Jonesboro, Arkansas campus to ensure programs are financially strong.



Responsibilities

    Assist the Director of Finance in the preparation and management of the NYITCOM - Arkansas school's budget
  • Assist the Director of Finance in managing NYITCOM - Arkansas spending patterns
  • Manage budget transfers for NYITCOM - Arkansas
  • Manage all NYITCOM - Arkansas Accounts Payable (Invoicing, payments, purchase orders and etc.)
  • Manage, train and assist faculty and staff with ordering and expense reimbursements
  • Manage, review and process expense reimbursements submitted to Finance
  • Manage all finance reconciliations (operational budgets, grants, sponsored funds and etc.)
  • Manage monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of key performance indicators, analytics and metrics
  • Assist Director of Finance in developing business cases and business plans for potential future programs


Qualifications

  • BA degree in Finance or Business required
  • MBA preferred
  • Two plus years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Finance or related field preferred
  • Intermediate Excel knowledge and experience required (pivoting, charting, graphs, VLOOKUPs and etc.)
  • Knowledge of the Workday platform preferred
  • Higher Education experience is a plus
  • Self-starter and must be able to work independently
