As the Documentation Specialist I, you will play a vital part within the Global Supply Chain Group, acting as a liaison between external laboratories, manufacturers, and our internal Value Assignment Team to help meet manufacturing demands. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining vendor data (ie. Contact information, shipping information, testing capabilities, etc.), ensuring accuracy and compliance within our Laboratory/Hospital and Manufacturer databases to support the Value Assignment program. In this role, you'll work closely with external vendors to onboard new qualified suppliers and maintain up-to-date records of their testing capabilities. Additionally, you'll collaborate with internal teams-including Value Assignment, Commodity Management, and Supplier Quality-to generate and maintain master data records that support operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

How You'll Make An Impact:



  • Empower Bio-Rad to deliver for our customers by ensuring supplier master data and databases are accurate and aligned with the Supplier Quality database.
  • Maintain department Vendor database and serve as the point of contact for SAP vendor master questions from all departments.
  • Uses judgement and takes initiative to complete tasks; works under general direction and can manage a diverse work load to meet changing priorities.
  • Ability to work successfully with internal as well as external customers.
  • Transform how we tackle challenges with suggestions for structural quality and process improvements, and waste elimination.


What You Bring:



  • Associates degree or equivalent (science field preferred).
  • 0-2 years in a regulated industry (medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, preferred).
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • High sensitivity, confidentiality, diplomacy and tact in dealing with internal and external customers.
  • Experience with medical device testing, instrumentation and/or methodologies preferred.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP preferred.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize requests in an environment with changing priorities.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $68,640 - $75,500 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is also eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
