We are currently hiring a Coating Technician (Various Shifts) Location: Hoya Vision, 7000 Sunwood Dr NW, Ramsey, MN 55303 Hourly Rate: $22 per hour (+ shift differential, see below for more information) Shifts Available: 1^st Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm 2^nd Shift: Monday through Friday, 2:00pm - 10:30pm (+ 10% shift differential) 3^rd Shift: Monday through Friday, 10:00pm - 6:30am (+ 20% shift differential Weekend Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 6am - 6:30pm (+ 15% shift differential) What's in it for you? What you'll do: Prepare lenses for the coating process, ensuring they are free from defects and ready for the next stage. Load and operate the AR Coating machine, monitoring its function and intervening as needed. Inspect coated lenses for quality, using specialized equipment to measure and assess coatings. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment preferred. Attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
