Position Title: Production Associate Wage: $19/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday with overtime on Friday QPS Employment Group is hiring a Production Associate for a company in Oelwein, IA. This is an associate to hire role. Production Associate Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe work environment - Sand, putty, and scrape parts to specifications - Operate various hand and power tools - Apply stain by spraying and wiping products as needed - Load and unload products for processing - Assemble and box finished products - Check parts for count, quality, and identification before moving to the next stage of production - Participate in a team-oriented work environment and maintain quality control standards - Contribute to meeting the manufacturing schedule Production Associate Requirements: - Ability to read and use measurement tools - Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals - Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions with common sense reasoning - Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and move materials up to or exceeding 50 pounds - Ability to stand or walk for an entire shift (8-10 hours) - Able to work in Iowa's climate conditions, including exposure to heat and cold - Potential exposure to paint fumes and chemicals QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
