Full-time > Direct hire > 100% Remote (USA) Overview:
Join our dynamic team as an Implementation Database Analyst, responsible for seamlessly migrating customer data, configuring SQL High Availability, and managing database operations in a Windows environment. This role involves ETL operations, data loading into the Spok database, troubleshooting database issues, and ensuring the successful implementation of HL7 - ADT patient feeds.
Required Duties and Responsibilities:
Database Administration:
>Configure SQL/Oracle products.
>Assist Support in resolving database issues.
>Research and integrate new SQL/Oracle products with Spok's offerings.
Loading Customer Data:
>Migrate data from old applications to the new environment.
>Load customer data into the Spok schema during implementation or upgrades.
>Develop and install customer data interfaces (Spok SQL product).
Maintaining Customer Data:
>Troubleshoot customer data interfaces.
>Perform data cleanup, manipulation, removal, and review within the Spok product schema.
>Extract data for customer and internal reviews.
Customer Relations:
>Collaborate with customers to address database and data-related issues.
>Explain database functionality and coordinate database and data projects.
Communication:
>Collaborate with different Spok departments to comprehend roles and performance requirements.
>Provide timely follow-ups to ensure project completion and customer satisfaction.
Documentation:
>Develop and maintain process, standards, and upgrade documentation.
>Prepare documentations for effective operational continuity.
Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
>Bachelor's degree in computer science and 2-4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
>3+ years of SQL (required); Oracle experience is a plus.
>Customer service-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
>Excellent oral and written communication skills.
>Ability to work collaboratively in a team and maintain composure in stressful situations.
>Demonstrated leadership skills and a proactive problem-solving approach.
>Willingness to work outside normal hours, including early mornings and weekends.
Technical Requirements:
>Strong knowledge of T-SQL, PL/SQL.
>Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server/Oracle databases, and a good understanding of database design principles.
>Knowledge of SQL programming and ability to write complex queries.
