Northwest Respiratory Services is seeking an Assistant Respiratory Specialist at our Eagan, MNlocation. Northwest Respiratory Services is a leading provider of oxygen and respiratory products throughout the Midwest and Rockies. We specialize in serving the long-term care community and oxygen dependent Veterans. As the Assistant Respiratory Specialist you will maintain and continue to build our strong reputation of customer service in the industry. You will apply your unique skill set and experience to home care and skilled nursing facility environments by setting patients up, providing comprehensive instruction and education to our customers.

Job Duties:



  • Provide instruction of home medical equipment to our customers in long term care facilities, nursing homes, and residential homes
  • Give continuing education to clients about proper use, safety, cleaning and maintenance of machinery and equipment
  • Make efficient deliveries of our medical equipment and maintain a high degree of reliability
  • Serve as a resource to clients for their home health care needs

Qualifications

Top candidates will have:



  • A background in home health care, EMT, or clinical work experience in nursing homes a big plus
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and equipment preferred
  • An active driver's license in the state of Minnesota
  • Ability to pass a motor vehicle records check, and drug test
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills
  • A desire to work with the public and help others obtain a better quality of life
