Accelerating the delivery of care and providing superior force health readiness across the Military, Federal, and Civilian landscapes. Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to support high-visibility and mission-critical aspects of our programs. This role requires independent execution of complex financial tasks and may include oversight responsibilities for junior analysts or complete responsibility for a specific financial assignment or project team.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
Independently perform complex financial analyses to support program planning, execution, and reporting.
- Develop, track, and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models for assigned programs or projects.
- Analyze cost trends, financial performance metrics, and program risk to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Prepare and present financial reports, variance analyses, and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, government regulations, and contractual requirements.
- May oversee and mentor junior financial staff, reviewing their work for accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with program managers, contract teams, and other stakeholders to ensure financial alignment with operational goals.
- Lead or support the preparation of cost proposals, pricing strategies, and business case justifications.
- Participate in audits, reviews, and other compliance activities as needed.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Proven ability to work independently on complex tasks and manage competing priorities.
- Strong proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, financial modeling software).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to synthesize financial data into clear, concise reports and presentations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree (MA/MS) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) certification.
- Minimum 5+ years direct experience with finance for an HQ level military entity.
- Experience working for or supporting the National Guard Bureau.
- At a minimum, a favorably adjudicated National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) or an equivalent or higher investigation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting Federal Government programs or working in a government contracting environment.
- Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and other Federal financial management regulations.
- CPA, CFA, or other relevant financial certification.
Pay and Benefits The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $135,000 annually. At Goldbelt, we value and reward our team's dedication and hard work.
