This position will work under the direction of the Assistant Athletic Director, Ticket Sales & Operations. General responsibilities include:
* Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Athletics Ticket Office.
* Manage incoming calls and email inquiries to the Athletics Ticket Office; maintain log of all incoming voice mail messages and respond in a timely manner.
* Process ticket orders using Ticketmaster Archtics.
* Assist with keeping attendance and sales records for all ticketed sports up to date.
* Supervise ticket operations, including part-time ticket sellers, for select GW Athletics events.
* Collaborate with other external units of the Athletic Department (Marketing, Development, Facilities).
* Sell tickets to those walking up to purchase GW athletic event tickets using GW's ticketing platform (Ticketmaster).
* Distribute student-athlete guest tickets in accordance with University, A-10, and
NCAA policies.
* Answer guest questions, promote upcoming events/ticket offers, and assist with ticket setup.
* Represent GW Athletics in a first-class manner; provide impeccable customer service to those attending GW Athletics events.
The incumbent may perform other related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position. |
