Grounds Keeper

We are seeking a dependable Campground Maintenance/Grounds Worker to handle daily maintenance and cleaning tasks across Sherwood Forest Campground. The role involves ensuring that facilities and grounds are clean, safe, and well-maintained for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

-Perform daily cleaning of campground facilities, including restrooms, showers, and common areas

-Maintain cleanliness of picnic tables, fire pits, and campsites, including rentals

-Empty trash receptacles and manage waste disposal

-Sweep, mop, and disinfect surfaces regularly in public areas

-Clean and maintain campground buildings and equipment

-Mow lawns and trim landscaping as needed

-Conduct routine inspections of facilities and perform minor repairs

-Assist with seasonal preparation, such as winterizing water systems

-Perform basic electrical and plumbing maintenance and troubleshooting as needed

-Ensure all areas meet cleanliness and safety standards

-Respond to maintenance or cleaning requests in a timely manner

-Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

-Previous cleaning or maintenance experience preferred

-Experience in electrical and plumbing work is preferred

-Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools

-Physical ability to lift, carry, and move cleaning materials and equipment

-Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently

-Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

-Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

-Availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as scheduled

-Wage based upon experience
