Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Staff Audiologist (FGP)(37.5).

Job Responsibilities:

• Assess patient hearing. Administer and interpret behavioral and electrophysiological measures including but not limited to air and bone conduction, speech reception and discrimination tests, otoacoustic emissions, immittance testing, ABR, ASSR
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complete and follow all department and medical center policies and requirements.
• Perform other related Audiology duties as required.
• Ensure patient follow-up for services, as needed.
• Communicate all findings to referring physician or other professionals related to the care of the patient.
• Document all information in patient chart and prepare written reports.
• Administer and interpret electrophysiological measurements of evoked auditory potentials, nerve conduction velocity and electromyography.
• Evaluation, fit and dispense amplification devices; provide counseling and training to family and patient regarding use of such devices

Additional Position Specific Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:Doctor of Audiology. NYS Audiology License and Hearing Aid Dispensing License (or at least license eligible). Applicants need to apply for a Hearing Aid Dispensing license within the first year of work.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $67,771.14 - $90,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
