What you will do
- Skillfully deconstruct, break down, and efficiently pack out warehouse racking systems.
- Meticulously organize and optimize product arrangements on racks, maximizing both space and accessibility.
- Demonstrate expertise in constructing, assembling, and installing warehouse racking systems, adhering to specifications and safety protocols.
- Regularly inspect racking systems to ensure their stability and adherence to safety standards.
- Expertly load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments onto warehouse racking systems with safety and precision.
- Navigate equipment like forklifts, order-pickers, pallet jacks, and more to expertly maneuver products with ease.
- Proficiently operate power tools to ensure effective assembly and disassembly processes.
- Safely pick and pack out auto glass products, ensuring careful handling and protection during storage and transportation.
- Adhere diligently to all safety protocols and guidelines, mitigating risks and promoting a secure environment.
- Contribute to accurate inventory counts and cycle counts, showcasing attention to detail.
- Foster clear and proactive communication with team members and supervisors, ensuring smooth workflows and issue resolution.
- Collaborate seamlessly with the warehouse team to maintain a tidy and well-organized workspace.
- Arrange your own travel arrangements to coincide with your colleagues.
- Manage your expense reports and company credit card quickly and efficiently, reconciling monthly.
What you need
- Must be able to travel up to 100% of the time - this often requires 2 week trips in the field.
- Must reside near a regional or major airport.
- 1-3 years experience in warehouse or manufacturing, including experience operating Forklifts required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to successfully pass a driving assessment and regularly follow safe driving practices when operating the vehicle.
- Ability to work from any warehouse location.
- Completion of MHE certification (Order Picker, Reach Truck and Forklift) required and experience with MHE is highly desired.
- Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions in warehouse and dock areas (seasonal heat and cold in environment that is not air conditioned), and repeatedly lift up to t35lbs and occasionally lift up to 50lbs, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and meet weight safety standards to operate MHE.
- Associate must weigh under 300lbs in order to abide by safety standards when using the order picker.
