A Brief Overview

The Talent Development Manager manages programs related to associate and leadership development including the design, creation and execution of development plans and development options for all levels of associates. This position focuses on partnering with organizational leaders to solve business problems with holistic development interventions. The role is an expert in the entire training, learning and development processes and leads complex projects/programs. Activities include assessing capability gaps, proposing data driven recommendations, owning development products end to end and executing all aspects of creating, implementing and evaluating development solutions.

What you will do

  • Responsible for creation, management and deployment of complex, strategic development programs in accordance with business objectives including scope, schedule, and cost by tracking program execution.

  • Develop strategic partnerships with business support functions to plan, gain alignment and support execution of initiatives. Provide proactive coaching and consulting to individuals, managers, leaders and groups on development best practices.

  • Collaborate with designers, team members, cross-functional partners, and/or vendor resources to lead and manage the creation of customer-driven products that solve business issues.

  • Manage communications with team and stakeholders to identify needs and propose scope of projects accordingly.

  • Support defining and improving operational processes for the Talent team while staying abreast of current development trends, advances and tools/technologies.

  • Report on key metrics and make recommendations for process and improvements.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's Degree Required

  • 7-9 years of relevant experience Required

  • Previous experience planning major projects Required

  • Strong management skills and communication skills

  • Ability to move smoothly between strategic discussions and detailed action plans

  • Able to work independently with regular communication to management

  • Able to coordinate several activities simultaneously

  • Able to interact with clients at all levels with a strong focus on clear and structure client communication

  • Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrates problem-solving ability and learning agility

  • Ability to anticipate change, draw conclusions, and swiftly mobilize to adapt to changing business needs and demands

  • Builds collaborative relationships based on trust and respect, both internally and externally
