General Role Description:

Responsible for supervising clinic team, overseeing the daily operations of the clinic, and providing direction, leadership and guidance to staff. Collaborates with other site leaders, providers, regional partners, and support functions to execute plans and achieve site goals.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Works with all members of the department health care team ensuring smooth patient flow within department. Responsible for the day-to-day operations including achieving established goals such as quality of care and budget expectations.
  • Ensures compliance with all policies and procedures in accordance with State and Federal Regulations.
  • Uses daily management system, and standard tools to monitor individual and departmental performance on key metrics
  • Determines appropriate staffing mix and amount to meet routine and special patient needs and arranges staff coverage.
  • Demonstrates leadership and collaboration in problem solving with employees and patients
  • Directs work of teammates, including supervision, hiring, and terminations; determine staffing needs, and ensure efficient utilization of teammates ensuring consistency with ACE standard work and processes.
  • Monitors performance, provides feedback regularly, evaluates skills, and supports staff through development planning.
  • Ensures thorough and effective orientation for all new teammates and coaches for high performance.
  • Performs other duties including monitoring budget expectations, improving patient satisfaction, and engaging teammates and providers in a positive, encouraging work environment. Fosters a sense of urgency in teammates that promotes commitment to patient centered care, optimal clinical outcomes and regulatory compliance
  • Communicates regularly to all teammates, managers and physicians as necessary. Conducts teammate meetings as needed. Leads and/or participates in departmental quality improvement and service excellence activities. Research and resolve local clinical quality issues
  • Lead/participate on short term special projects as assigned
  • May support multiple locations
  • Performs additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:



  • High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel)
  • Driver's License and access to a reliable transportation



Preferred Qualifications:



  • 5+ years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Experience with EPIC EMR
  • Managed care and/or ambulatory care experience
  • Experience leading projects or team
  • Proven resilient and adaptive to changing environments
  • Demonstrated innovative and continuous improvement mindset



The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
