Are you a seasoned tax professional looking for year-round stability and growth? Staffmark is partnering with a well-established tax firm
that specializes in current and back tax filings, tax resolution, and personalized client service across all 50 states. We're seeking a highly experienced and dependable Tax Preparer who's passionate about accuracy, client service, and mentoring others.

Pay: $28-$40/hour (Depending on expereince.)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What You'll Do:



  • Prepare accurate federal and state tax returns for individuals and small businesses
  • Review returns prepared by team members to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Identify deductions, credits, and tax-saving opportunities
  • Ensure all client documentation is complete and accurate
  • E-file returns and handle any necessary follow-up
  • Provide clear, professional communication to clients
  • Collaborate with CPAs and admin staff for smooth workflow
  • Mentor junior staff and assist with training
  • Suggest improvements for internal processes and client experience
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold professional standards



What We're Looking For:



  • 3+ years of hands-on tax preparation experience
  • Proficiency with 1040, 1120, and 1065 returns
  • Prior experience reviewing and verifying others' tax work
  • Strong understanding of U.S. tax laws and filing practices
  • Skilled with Drake Tax Software or similar platforms
  • Active PTIN and CTEC registration (or willingness to obtain)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Willingness to teach and lead junior team members
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Experience with tax resolution and back tax filings
  • Desire to grow into a supervisory or leadership role
