Apply Now > Save Job Job Saved The position is a hands-on Chemist position with an emphasis on electroless and electrolytic plating, formulation of fillers into rubber, epoxies, paints & adhesives, troubleshooting raw materials, interacting with suppliers, etc., all related to the production of electrically conductive materials. Monitor and update Parker of new and developing technologies that may impact company products and markets. -Provide hands on research and development in the area of electroless and electrolytic plating, formulation of fillers into rubber, epoxies, paints and adhesives. -Troubleshoot raw materials -Provide hands on scientific and analytical approaches to product development Qualifications: -A degree in chemistry, polymer science or materials technology is necessary to be considered. -At least 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience is preferred, especially in the areas of plating or polymer formulation. -Eligibility to work on non-exportable technologies, i.e., candidate must be a U.S. citizen or hold the required credentials to be considered. -Ability to provide hands-on technical leadership with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. -Ability to work as a team member in a production environment. -Ability to be self-managing and task focused. -Highly motivated and results oriented. -Ability to communicate effectively with peers, management, suppliers and customers. SALARY INFORMATION: Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for Connecticut. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, location as well as market and business considerations. Pay Range: $85K-$141k This position is subject to meeting U.S. export compliance and/or U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.
