  • Follow safety rules and regulations
  • Monitor policies and procedures to assure internal/external quality standards are met
  • Conduct problem solving training and coaching of production personnel
  • Audit to government compliance
  • Lead projects for new product introduction
  • Perform advanced inspection, lab testing, and capability studies
  • Calibration of manufacturing equipment and testing tools
  • Direct and administer document control
  • Administer UL900 compliance
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Inspect raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
  • Understand quality plans/product requirements and effectively communicate them to TMs
  • Investigate and report non-conformances and probable causes
  • Effectively communicate with team members and suppliers
  • Use quality systems to generate SCARS, CARS, IRNS, and quality alerts
  • Develop inspection plans, procedures, and QCI projects
  • Perform database maintenance and understand advanced QC applications/concepts
  • Analyze Non-Conformances to determine probable cause and corrective measures
  • Prepare reports Including SPC Charts, capability studies, PPAPs and PFMEA
  • Perform various tests in compliance with regulations
  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing
  • 4+ years of experience in quality
  • Post Secondary Education and Technical Training
  • Knowledge of Applicable Regulatory Requirements Including ISO-9001:2015
  • Knowledge of LEAN practices
  • Knowledge of company quality goals, metrics and reporting
  • Basic trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills, Microsoft, Outlook, Internet and Navigate MRP
  • Basic math problem solving skills
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Ability to use standard testing lab tools
  • Ability to pass a tape measure test

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Works without close supervision, latitude in making decision
  • Must be able to lift to approximately 40 pounds repeatedly during shift
  • Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch
  • Must be able to read and understand quality specs
  • Must be computer proficient
  • Must be able to stand at work station for a long period of time
  • Must be able to use both hands in a repetitive motion
  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes and dust particles
  • Must be able to travel throughout the facility to obtain information needed to perform job function
