Work may involve strenuous physical activity and/or exposure to the outdoors. Work is performed under general supervision and is evaluated through observation and results obtained. Major/Essential Functions Reserve parking areas for Special Events, Board of Regents meetings, Chancellor's Visitors, President's Visitors and all other special functions. Work Entry Stations/Issue Visitor Passes. Monitor/maintain safety of transportation and parking on the Texas Tech campus. Must check departmental email daily. Must be knowledgeable of the Texas Tech campus and the parking rules and regulations. Act as the Ambassador to the University. Project that "West Texas" friendliness to all visitors, faculty, staff, students, etc. Projecting a positive impression of the University. Any other duty required to carry out the mission of Texas Tech University and Transportation & Parking Services. Required Qualifications Completion of High School or the equivalent and two years experience. May require a valid driver's license, with good driving record. Preferred Qualifications Candidate must have a valid driver's license and be insurable to operate TTU Vehicles. Excellent customer service skills, basic understanding of computer use and troubleshooting, good communication skills, leadership skills and experience. Prior experience in the parking industry.
