Major/Essential Functions


  • Reserve parking areas for Special Events, Board of Regents meetings, Chancellor's Visitors, President's Visitors and all other special functions.
  • Work Entry Stations/Issue Visitor Passes.
  • Monitor/maintain safety of transportation and parking on the Texas Tech campus.
  • Must check departmental email daily.
  • Must be knowledgeable of the Texas Tech campus and the parking rules and regulations.
  • Act as the Ambassador to the University. Project that "West Texas" friendliness to all visitors, faculty, staff, students, etc. Projecting a positive impression of the University.
  • Any other duty required to carry out the mission of Texas Tech University and Transportation & Parking Services.

Required Qualifications

Completion of High School or the equivalent and two years experience. May require a valid driver's license, with good driving record.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Candidate must have a valid driver's license and be insurable to operate TTU Vehicles.
  • Excellent customer service skills, basic understanding of computer use and troubleshooting, good communication skills, leadership skills and experience.
  • Prior experience in the parking industry.

Pay Statement
