Job Description

A Project Administrator processes orders for our Safety Services at the direction of a Project Manager or from direct customer contact. You will maintain the project status during the entire phase of the project including planning, control, execution, shipment, invoicing and closure. You will maintain customer records with sales contracts and other information. You must coordinate order details with multiple personnel and departments and potentially resolve matters regarding order status, shipping dates, prices, service availability and back orders.

This position can work remote and will report to our Project Administration Team Lead.

Responsibilities - What You'll Do:

  • You will work on job assignments that commiserate with Job Lovel (moderate to complex projects).
  • Safety Services business system transactions, obtains appropriate review per published business procedures/guidelines, and processes orders/invoices/account receivables tracking and issue resolution with the business system.
  • You will gather and summarize data to support orders, budget and schedule forecasting for projects and for overall business team.
  • You will participate in use planning, tracking and exception reporting.
  • You will perform material tracking, shipping/receiving functions.
  • You will receive assignments in the form of goals with goals and the Safety Services department to meet goals.
  • You will work with customer and vendor personnel to assure project progress to meet customer requirements.
  • You will work with project management, sales, engineering, purchasing and finance personnel in a multiple project team environment.
  • You will respond with urgency to internal and external customer requests for information.
  • You will monitor timeliness of customer invoicing and payment.
  • You will meet schedule, project administrator hours and customer satisfaction targets for own activities to support the full project team.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • High School Diploma or GED and Technical School Work or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. Rockwell Automation will not offer sponsorship for this position

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in standard/complex orders, maintaining the project status for the entire phase of the project including planning, control, execution, shipment, invoicing, and customer records.
  • Prior interaction with project management, engineering, assembly, purchasing, and finance personnel in a multiple project team environment.
  • Prior responsibility for meeting schedule, project administration hours and customer satisfaction
