As Manager - Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability, you will have EHSS responsibility for two of our manufacturing plants located in Mukwonago and West Bend, WI. This is an on-site position with days split between both locations.

You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary safety leader at the site, fostering a proactive safety culture through daily engagement, visibility, and collaboration with all levels of staff and management* Implement and continuously improve the Safety Management System to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and organizational goals.

  • Establish audit criteria and lead internal safety audits to assess compliance, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Deploy corporate safety policies, procedures, and programs across operational sites to ensure consistent application and compliance.

  • Provide guidance on OSHA standards, environmental regulations, and industry-specific safety requirements.

  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver safety training programs for new hires and existing employees, ensuring content is OSHA Compliant, engaging, and tailored to job-specific hazards.

  • Lead investigations into workplace incidents, near-misses, and ergonomic concerns. Facilitate root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.

  • Manage the First Aid and First Responder programs, ensuring personnel are properly trained, equipped, and prepared to respond to emergencies.

  • Maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety performance. Manage incident reporting systems and ensure accurate, timely data entry and analysis.

  • Generate and present monthly safety performance reports, highlighting trends, areas of concern, and opportunities for improvement to site leadership and corporate stakeholders.

  • Review OSHA 300 logs and related documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal and state reporting requirements.

  • Lead safety teams at each location driving employee engagement, encourage feedback, and fostering a safety culture at each site.

  • Partner with the Director of Operations and other site leaders to integrate safety into daily operations and strategic planning.

  • Develop and lead monthly safety meetings and toolbox talks, promoting awareness and engagement through relevant, timely topics.

  • Assist with environmental compliance activities including permitting, regulatory reporting, site inspections, and sustainability initiatives to ensure environmental stewardship.

  • Perform additional responsibilities and special projects as needed to support the EHSS organization.

  • Local travel between the two factories in West Bend and Mukwonago, WI is required. Occasional travel is also required to attend conferences, training, etc.

The TOOLS you'll bring with you:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Occupational Safety, Safety/Industrial Systems engineering or similar.

  • 3-5 years minimum of supporting safety in a manufacturing environment.

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and Power Point.

  • Ability to work well with people in various levels of the organization.

  • Strong written and verbal skills.

Other TOOLS we prefer you to have:

Experience in the following:

  • Using injury reporting management software.

  • Supporting a safety management system and/or OSHA Voluntary Protection Program.
