Job Purpose:

Supports engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry or specialized test equipment. Applications may include analog, digital and/or video circuits, and logic systems. Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions. Performs operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment. Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. Assists in the design, construction, test and check-out of test equipment. Uses manufacturing, test, development or diagnostic equipment, including, but not limited to, test programs oscilloscopes, signal generators and specialized test apparatus.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

Implement workflow for all levels of the product integrations into the MES system. Implement traceability elements and create routings for the shop floor as defined by integration process steps for the new product. Coordinate MES improvements implementation with IT. This role requires ability to understand the workflow for product integration to be able to work on related activities, such as time study, labor updates, work instructions development/updates and collaborate with the engineering team on other activities related to the line set up and support. Must possess the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks in a demanding environment, demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. In concert with engineering and quality organization, ensures that customer requirements are implemented and met. Implement customer traceability requirements into workflows and generate reports. Work with the ME team to create unique solutions on the shop floor to serve production and customer requirements base. Support manufacturing and other departments as required.

Education and Experience:

- AA Degree in engineering discipline or equivalent (preferred BS degree)

- Familiarity with manufacturing environment, factory systems and relevant projects is a plus

-Minimum two years experience supporting Engineering team or working in the electronics Industry

-Understanding of the production environment

-Ability to work under deadlines

- Effective verbal and written communication skills are required in interacting with team members and customers.

-Detail-oriented, fast learner, team player, flexible and self-starter with strong interpersonal skills

-Experience with Microsoft Office is a must

Salary Range(annual): $58,240 - $66,560 ($28 - $32 / hourly)

Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
