Department Summary The mission of the Elm Fork Education Center is to develop and implement premiere environmental education programs. These programs will provide investigative encounters that engage students of all ages in field activities and discovery experiences. These opportunities are designed to encourage sound environmental decision making and responsible environmental stewardship. Position Overview This position involves working with children at Elm Fork Summer Camp. Job duties include working with a partner to plan, gather materials, and present a variety of themed camp activities utilizing established camp guidelines. Minimum Qualifications Previous work experiences with elementary and middle-school aged children, ability to work outdoors during summer months. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Co-manage a classroom of up to 20 campers, good problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills, provide a safe and fun atmosphere, communicate science-related content appropriate to the audience, and have flexibility. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience with Elm Fork Summer Camp programming. Required License/Registration/Certifications Driver's License Job Duties:
