Groton Operations Manufacturing Representative

Groton Operations Director is looking for an energetic, self-motivated individual to work within the COLUMBIA (CLB) Program reporting to the Mfgr. Rep Operations Supervisor

The successful candidate will be primarily responsible to support the CLB Program in achieving operational excellence and first time quality. This position provides a platform to gain a working knowledge of various manufacturing environments and their relationships with other parts of Electric Boats' business.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Lead Facility/work center activities to support facilitating work opened for CLB operations
• Lead self-assessment audits, commit to schedules and maintain product quality
• Attend to various administrative responsibilities, such as LMS, Quality documentation, work completion documentation, etc.
• Must be willing to work all shifts and travel, as required
• Support unplanned event activity in accordance with (IAW) SSP 23.45
• Support responses to other quality items such as Audit reports, CARs, etc.
• Analysis of financial data
• Trade Knowledge/Experience

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2-years EB Operations experience in an Engineering, Finance, or Planning capacity

Preferred:

• Manufacturing, Shipbuilding and Leadership experience
• Knowledge of management tools, i.e. Microsoft Office Suite
• Bachelor's Degree
