This position reports to

EL Commercial Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead supply planning, inventory management, and resource management in the Regional Distribution Center (RDC). Each day, you will drive planning initiatives to improve customer on-time delivery and lead time. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring adherence to inventory and supply plan.
The work model for the role is: ONSITE
You will be mainly accountable for:
* Owns the site supply planning process; Monitors the procurement processes and activities, and resolves issues related to procurement cost, quality, and delivery; Monitors and reports internal and supplier performance (Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)), quality issues, and development actions.
* Ensures the resolution of customer issues by coordinating with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain Management, and other internal and/or external teams; Recommends appropriate solution for customer requests and coordinates with the related teams to ensure end-to-end handling of the request (e.g., production capability and scheduling, resourcing, quotes, price lists, invoice, etc.) is in place.
* Keeps the customers proactively informed on the issue status based on the inputs received and clarifies their doubts; Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the entire process.
* Prepares and analyzes regular statistics (e.g., forecast, stock policy, etc.), using available tools and collecting additional relevant information; Tracks regular sales performance against the target and shares insights with the management; Ensures the right inventory levels are maintained, optimizing them according to the targets, while ensuring high customer service level.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor degree PLUS minimum 10 years experience in Warehouse, Shipping & Receiving, internal logistics, inventory, material handling, distribution operations
  • Experience must include minimum 4 years' experience leading a team, budget & performance management, Data Analytics & Reporting, Project Management, Order Handling & Fulfillment, and Strategy Implementation.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SAP Torque (preferred).
  • Ability to build relationships, speak/present effectively in interpersonal situations and before groups of employees comprised of various levels of personnel, from senior executives to facility personnel.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
