Chartwells at Vinton-Shellsburg Community School District-located in Vinton, IA (approximately 34 miles from Cedar Rapids)-is on the hunt for a dynamic Director of Dining Services to lead our food service team across 4 schools, serving 1,500 students with passion and precision. This is a new account for Chartwells, so we're looking for someone with the communication skills and leadership presence to build positive relationships with staff, students and the client from day one. The ideal candidate will have strong financial skills, a solid understanding of P&L oversight, and experience crafting engaging menus that drive student participation. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of inspiring change and innovation, committed to growing our dining program to new heights. With a supportive team of 21 hourly associates, you'll lead operations while ensuring compliance with NSLP guidelines and maintaining a client-focused, diligent approach.
