Systems Administrator - Senior (Windows) (CSSA)

Job Overview:

The Systems Administrator will troubleshoot operating systems, applications, databases, email systems, and complex data interface issues in support of the US Army Command and Control Support Agency (CCSA) Technical Services Division Support.

Support Hours: Applicant shall be available during core work hours as established the Government customer.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Installing, configuring, and tuning Operating Systems.
• Troubleshooting operating systems, applications, databases, email systems, and complex data interface issues.
• Managing Windows systems hosted in a complex, multi-layered network.
• Monitoring and intrusion/penetration detection and alert notification.

Minimum Requirements/Education:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Seven (7) years Windows System Administration experience with extensive knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
• CompTIA SecurityX (formerly CASP+) certification or willingness to obtain within 90-days of employment.
• Shall possess extensive knowledge of Windows Operating Systems; Installing, configuring, and turning Operating Systems; Troubleshooting operating system, applications, databases, email, and complex data interface issues.
• Knowledge and experience with current IA and IT Security control implementation procedures.
• SAN experience, to include enterprise backup solutions and fault tolerant technologies.

• Top Secret Clearence

Travel Requirements:

Travel will be required within the NCR during the performance of this contract to attend meetings, conferences, and training. If designated a member of the Emergency Response Group, travel will be required to relocate to an alternate site not to exceed 150-mile radius of primary work location if the ERG is activated.
