Job Summary:
LPG Surgical Oncology is seeking an organized and efficient OR Scheduler to support our surgical team by coordinating procedures and ensuring a smooth scheduling process for patients and providers. This role is vital in maintaining continuity of care and operational excellence within our high-performing surgical oncology practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule surgical procedures accurately and efficiently.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary departments.

• Confirm surgery dates with patients and review pre-op instructions.

• Ensure all pre-authorizations and documentation are complete.

• Maintain and update records in the scheduling system, preferably EPIC.

• Manage scheduling conflicts and changes in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Experience in healthcare scheduling, preferably in surgical services.

• Prior knowledge of EPIC scheduling system (highly preferred).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Detail-oriented with strong time-management abilities.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
