1st Shift/Full-Time: Monday through Friday
With experience, make up to $40.86 per hour.

Summary

The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to ensure efficient resource utilization and alignment with business objectives. This role requires expertise in the relevant ERP system modules, and supply chain management principles, including demand management, capacity planning, inventory control, and production scheduling.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Generate and analyze Materials Requirement Plan (MRP) to maintain accurate, optimum levels of inventory to support manufacturing activities.
  • Maintain Master Production Schedule and analyze capacity constraints, work center efficiencies and machine reliability to maximize on-time delivery and minimize work in process.
  • Participate on cross-functional teams to address and resolve problems and ensure the continuous, on-going improvement of production, methods, processes, on-time delivery and quality.
  • Utilize ERP system modules such as Demand Management, Order Management, Job Management, Scheduling, and Inventory Management to manage scheduling data and improve operational efficiency
  • Maintains compliance with company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices and contributes to a positive work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Education and/or Experience

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) in related field; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience which demonstrates working knowledge of MRP and Master Production Schedules in a manufacturing environment.
  • Supply chain related certification or coursework preferred (e.g. APICS CPIM)
  • Epicor ERP experience preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel as well as talk and hear.
  • Regularly is required to stand, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance.
  • Regularly required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
