Marketing Assistant

84 Lumber is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support the daily operations of the Marketing Department with administrative tasks and marketing strategy on a variety of projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in marketing as well as a desire to learn, understand, and commit to enhancing their skills in digital and traditional marketing. The incumbent must have strong communication skills, a creative mindset, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, keeping detailed records of each.

Essential Functions

• Provide local marketing support for the stores by coordinating sponsorships, ordering collateral, researching traditional and digital marketing options, etc.
• Assist with logistics for customer outings, track progress, and occasionally execute on-site events
• Participate in marketing and volunteer events when necessary
• Pay monthly invoices and manage incoming vendor credits, keeping detailed records of each
• Maintain the marketing warehouse and keep an accurate inventory of all collateral and promotional items
• Assist with reservations when necessary
• Manage and fulfill donation requests
• Field calls and assist store associates, AM's DVP's, and vendors to research and resolve problems
• Maintain aspects of the company website, ensuring accuracy

The minimum requirements for this position are a degree in marketing, communications or business administration. Experience: Minimum 1 years of relevant work experience.
