HX5 is currently seeking Information System Security Engineer to support the HNJ Division at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Will provide a multitude of analysis, procedural competency, and process improvement strategies with increasing levels of responsibility.

• Serves as PMO expert IA security protection and requirements.

• Assist with design, development, implementation, integration of systems IA architecture

• Assist in development of security plan of actions and milestone (POA&M) mitigations through timely assessment of POA&M corrective actions.

• Conduct technical and nontechnical reviews and observe audits as necessary to support development and test efforts.

• Experience with security systems engineering involving hardware and software operating systems and application solutions

• Analyze security features and/or vulnerability of various operating systems IA vulnerability testing

• Prepare US Government contract proposals as IA/security engineering subject matter expert, and implementation of DoD and Federal IA A&A processes

• Manage IA controls and develop and maintain associated A&A documentation IAW RMF

• Utilize and understand operating systems including Linux, Ubuntu, IoT systems, ZTA environments and Cloud development.

• Translate program/system requirements into technical requirements and architectures needed to meet program objectives.

Education and Experience:

Must have the following education and experience:

• Master's degree in related field and at least ten (10) years of relevant experience, minimum of ten years progressive technical experience related to IA/cyber engineering architecture, requirements determination, development, and implementation

• DoDD 8140 IAT level II or higher

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

• SAP/SAR experience required

Other Position Requirements:

• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.

• Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.

• Must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance by date of hire.

• Must be able to travel, including air travel.
