Job Description

With two primary US locations in Auburn Hills and Wixom Michigan, Atlas Copco, IAS is the global leader in industrial dispensing, self-pierce riveting and flow drill fastening systems.

This position is located onsite at facility in Wixom, Michigan, located 25 miles north of Detroit.

Mission:

To be responsible for daily service manintence in house and repair needs of the customer's equipment. Establish and maintain proper business relationshiops with customers and peers.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform repair/overhaul on Scheugenpflug metering/dispensing equipment (metering heads, pumps, material feeding/preparation units) at the Wixom, MI location and customer facilities
• Perform technical assistance during and after the warranty period, carry out training, and other after-sales services of Scheugenpflug portfolios and solutions
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintenance of mechanical and pneumatically controlled equipment and devices; maintain installation tools, test equipment, and machine calibration
• Ensure ultimate internal and external customer satisfaction
• Provide support in training customers to maintain dispensing & metering equipment.
• Reviewing task plans, drawings, and general installation schematics with installation crew before start-up and providing continual guidance throughout task duration
• Maintain communication and documentation of services provided; Submit reports covering the project's status; support all facets of spare parts and customer service group tasks

Experience:

• Experience with power tools. (drills, screwdrivers, wrenches)
• In-house and on-site support for diagnostics,
• Repair and replace metering heads, and material feeding pumps experience is a plus
