Job Description |

The Munitions Management/SME supports Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA), G-3/5/7 Munitions Management Office (DAMO-TRA) with Combat Load requirements for all the Security Risk Categories (SRCs). Applies deep understanding of munitions management to compute Standards in Training Commission (STRAC) and Combat Load requirements for TAMIS. The Munitions Management Subject Matter Expert is responsible for providing technical advisory services on contracting and production matters, coordinating between military and industry during development, testing, and fielding new munitions and missile explosive components, and managing the development of training packages for Army personnel. They also serve as Army Theater subject matter experts and advisors for all aspects of munitions management. The SME must have demonstrated deep understanding and knowledge of munitions management and munitions systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Apply deep understanding of munitions management to build and administer useful reports presented in an intuitive way -in graphical forms, grids, scorecards or a combination that trigger decisions * Continue development and tuning of the TAMIS statistical reporting capability and develop an enhanced ad-hoc user report capability * Support design and development of reports configured and viewable for mobile users using either personally owned devices or Government provided devices * Other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor of Science (BS) in IT, Business Administration, or other management related field * Must have at least 12 years specialized technical and/or functional munitions experience is required * Candidates shall have experience working with or serving in the Armed Forces as an ammunition manager, chief warrant officer in the ordnance corps, or in a similar capacity that demonstrates SME, authoritative knowledge and understanding of ammunition and munitions management at the unit and higher Army levels * SMEs must possess credible, specialized experience in areas of munitions supply procedures and possess Army or Marine Corps munitions regulatory knowledge * SMEs must have experience with or knowledge of the Standards in Weapons Training Commission (STRAC) and/or the Marine Corps munitions requirements generation processes * SME must be able to travel and may be required to travel to areas where US forces are engaged in hostilities * Candidates must have demonstrated expertise in applying analysis and resolution of very complex or sensitive problems related to munitions authorization management, training, combat requirement calculations and forecasting of Class V * SMEs must have demonstrated deep understanding and knowledge of munitions management and munitions systems
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
* Contractor personnel are subject to the same rules as all personnel entering military installations * The work of this position is performed in an environmentally controlled office environment and sometimes in the field where you are subject to the environment * Must be capable of sitting and entering data on a computer keyboard for extended periods of time * Must be able to view computer monitor for extended periods of time * Must be able to lift 25 pounds unassisted * Reasonable accommodation can be made to enable people with disabilities to perform the duties and responsibilities

* Must be a U.S. Citizen * Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent * Must possess a valid driver's license, without special restrictions * Must pass a pre-employment drug screening periodic retest * Must be able to successfully complete a background screening * Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret security clearance prior to employment and maintain security clearance for the duration of employment
