Position Overview

The Strategic Business Operations Analyst will support the Post Pay Operations Process Excellence team in managing and executing change initiatives aimed at scaling post pay operations to a global framework. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to identify and implement improvements, analyzing data to drive operational excellence, and ensuring alignment with the organization's long-term goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as proficiency in relevant technologies and the ability to build authentic relationships across functions.

What you'll do:

  • Analyze data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Support cross-functional teams in implementing changes and monitor progress to ensure measurable improvements. Ability to translate and model data to make informed decisions.

  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement inventory management processes to ensure optimal stock levels and efficient utilization of resources. Implement strategies to maximize inventory production.

  • Assist in the development and execution of strategies to scale post pay operations globally. Coordinate with international teams to ensure consistency and efficiency across all operations.

  • Conduct capacity assessments to determine the ability of the organization to meet current and future demands. Develop plans to address capacity constraints and optimize resource allocation.

  • Work alongside the Process Excellence team to review and evaluate the performance of business operations of the Post Pay teams. Partner with the leadership team to recommend and execute adjustments as needed, conducting root cause analysis and developing action plans.

  • Conduct benchmarking activities to ensure post pay operations are moving towards a world-class model. Research industry best practices and stay informed about the latest trends and innovations.

  • Develop and execute project plans, resource management, risk assessment, and other key initiatives within scope, time, and in alignment with team strategy.

  • Able to perform other duties as assigned.

What you'll Bring to Zelis:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in business operations, strategic planning, or a related field. Experience in a senior analyst role is required.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).

  • Project management experience with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to think critically and develop long-term strategies.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate others.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and environments.

  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.

Location and Workplace Flexibility

We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India.
